Open safety briefing & AGM: 4pm @ .All divers in the open must attend the afternoon briefing. AGM follows the briefing.

About the event:
Entry fees pay for the event and go towards the activities of Spearfishing New Zealand Inc.
All competitors should familiarise themselves with the NZ spearfishing competition rules:
In particular, take note of gear requirements (floats with flags etc): You will not be able to start if you do not have a qualifying float.
We recommend that you undertake a medical examination prior to participation in the event.
Open Championships: You are responsible for finding a partner to dive with. We will assist if we can.
Individual events (women's and juniors): you are responsible for arranging a safety observer who will accompany you at all times during the event and who must be familiar with the rules. We will assist if we can.
Boats: Competitors are not required to bring boats (Unless preorgnaised by the committee).
You can enter more than one competitor per booking but they must be entered seperately within the booking.
Accommodation: Dwane has organised some accommodation on a first in, first served basis. Please contact him for details or alternatively, you can organise your own.
